Paradigm’s Head of Security, known pseudonymously as Samczsun, has announced the launch of SEAL-ISAC (Information Sharing and Analysis Center), a platform against crypto cyberattacks. This free, global platform provides a much-needed solution for sharing security intelligence and building resilience within the crypto ecosystem.
SEAL-ISAC connects individuals and organizations with experts on crypto-threats, attacks, and best practices. From crypto exchanges and wallets to blockchain developers and infrastructure projects, any entity involved in the crypto space can benefit from participation.
The platform already boasts a strong foundation with members like Chainalysis, Ethereum Foundation, MetaMask, Polygon, and Uniswap Labs. Additionally, major blockchains like Ethereum, Polkadot, and Solana are lending their support.
“Valuable threat intelligence often gets lost in private chats,” explained Samczsun. “SEAL-ISAC offers a secure and efficient way to collect, organize, and share this information across the entire crypto ecosystem.”
This initiative builds upon the success of SEAL Org, a crypto-security organization launched by Samczsun in February 2024. SEAL Org provides a safe harbor for white-hat hackers and aims to replicate the “safe harbor” concept established in Web2 for security researchers.
SEAL-ISAC represents a significant step forward, evolving from the earlier SEAL 911 hotline launched in September 2023. With its focus on collaboration and information sharing, SEAL-ISAC has the potential to significantly improve crypto security and protect users from cyberattacks.
