Leading blockchain data and analytics firm Chainalysis has relocated its regional headquarters to Dubai. In a statement released on May 8, Chainalysis unveiled its new headquarters for Southern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa in Dubai. The company highlighted its proactive engagement with government stakeholders, offering expertise on regulatory best practices to drive industry innovation.
The announcement also underscored Chainalysis’ partnership with the United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications to establish an excellence center aimed at enhancing government employees’ proficiency in blockchain technology. Additionally, the company has launched a Centre of Excellence dedicated to facilitating blockchain education and upskilling initiatives for government personnel.
Furthermore, Chainalysis recently inked a memorandum of understanding with Emirates NBD, a leading banking institution in the region, pledging support for the bank’s Digital Asset Lab program.
Michael Gronager, CEO of Chainalysis, praised the UAE government for its proactive stance on crypto-related policies, noting the country’s role in spearheading the crypto revolution. Gronager emphasized the potential of cryptocurrencies to facilitate value transfer and highlighted the UAE’s position to drive innovation in the industry with innovative use cases benefiting consumers and businesses.
