Ethics Policy

These are the ethical standards CoinsCipher holds itself to. They exist because crypto media has a credibility problem, and the only fix is behaving consistently over time.

Conflicts of interest

Writers and editors must not cover projects in which they hold a financial position that could be materially affected by the coverage, without disclosing it in the article. Undisclosed paid promotion is prohibited. We do not accept payment, tokens, or other compensation in exchange for coverage or ranking positions.

Affiliate relationships

Some links on CoinsCipher are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you sign up through them. Affected pages carry a disclosure. Affiliate status never determines a review’s conclusion, a comparison’s winner, or whether a product is covered at all. Products with no affiliate program are reviewed alongside those with one.

No financial advice

CoinsCipher publishes information and analysis, not investment advice. We do not tell readers what to buy or sell, we do not promise returns, and we treat price predictions as scenarios rather than certainty. Cryptocurrency carries significant risk, including total loss.

Sources and attribution

We credit the work of others. Reporting that originates elsewhere is linked to its source. We do not pass off others’ research, screenshots, or reporting as our own.

Advertising separation

Any advertising or sponsored placement on CoinsCipher is visually distinct from editorial content and labeled. Sponsors have no input into editorial coverage.
