XRP Holds Near $1.05 as Losses Build Across the Board

Green headline banner reading “XRP Trades Near $1.05 While Losses Deepen Across Every Major Timeframe” above a red line chart showing uneven price movement with a sharp drop followed by choppy sideways trading, illustrating continued weakness and volatility in XRP market activity.
  • XRP sits at $1.05 right now, off 1.30% in the past 24 hours.
  • Zoom out and it’s worse: down 6.50% for the month, 64.70% for the year.
  • The token is trading about 71% below its all-time high of $3.65.

XRP is at $1.05, down 1.30% on the day, according to CoinsCipher. There was a small bounce in the last hour, up 0.10%, though one green hour doesn’t undo a red month.

The month has been rough. CoinsCipher’s numbers show XRP down 3.50% over the past week, 5.90% over two weeks, 6.50% over 30 days. Push further out and it gets worse: a 49.50% drop over 200 days, 64.70% over the past year. Pick almost any window and XRP is lower now than when it started.

Seven-day XRP price chart in U.S. dollars showing a gradual downward drift from around $1.09 toward the low-$1.03 range, with several short-lived rebounds before a sharper late-session drop, illustrating continued volatility and sustained selling pressure in XRP trading.

Where XRP Stands Against Its All-Time High

XRP peaked at $3.65 on July 17, 2025. It hasn’t been back since. Today’s price is sitting roughly 71% below that mark, a gap that’s barely moved in months.

The all-time low tells a different story. XRP bottomed at $0.00268621 in May 2014. That’s a number worth sitting with. Even after this year’s losses, anyone who bought near that price is still up by a staggering margin.

What XRP’s Market Cap, Trading Volume, and Supply Say About Current Market Activity

Market cap is $65.60 billion, which puts XRP at number 6 among all cryptocurrencies by that measure. It’s a big number, but so is the drop it took to get there. A year ago the market cap would have looked very different at these price levels.

Daily trading volume is $1.27 billion. That’s not a slow day. People are still buying and selling XRP in real size, even with the price trending down, which says something about how liquid this market stays regardless of direction.

On supply, there’s about 62.5 billion XRP circulating out of a hard cap of 100 billion. Once that ceiling is hit, that’s it, no more XRP gets minted. That’s different from tokens with no supply limit at all, and it’s one reason some traders treat XRP as a scarcer bet over the long run, whether or not that shows up in the price today.

There’s a decent chance none of this matters by next week. Crypto moves on headlines as much as charts, and one announcement out of Washington or a major exchange could flip the mood fast. But for now, the numbers are what they are: XRP down across nearly every window CoinsCipher tracks, with no clean signal that the slide is done.
