Ethereum ETH/USD, meanwhile, edged higher, trading below the key $1,900 mark this morning.
Trust Wallet Token TWT/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Neo NEO/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.33 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 0.7%. BTC was trading lower by 0.3% at $34,966 while ETH rose by around 0.4% to $1,893 on Monday.
